Currently there are other new Malaysian child prodigies, but these four of them were more popularly known and controversial.

1. Adi Putra Abdul Ghani
But instead, he went on to give lectures at local universities; and said to be paid RM6,000 per hour.
Amazing Adi invented 234 new mathematical formulas and learned 8 languages.
Furthermore, he was already keeping track of foreign stock markets on the Internet.
When Adi was 12 years old, he released his first book, “Seni Matematik Islam“.
Strangely, his book was used as a reference for primary and secondary students in Brunei, but did not gained recognition in Malaysia.
In 2010, the Health Ministry’s pharmaceutical services division raided his home and confiscated health supplements.
It was said that the supplements contained steroids, which could bring side effects like bone decay, high blood pressure and kidney damage.
But according to the smart teenager, he tried several times to gain approval from the Health Ministry but it never happened.
Then he met ministry officials who then dropped the steroid claims, but said he never obtained approval to sell the product.
In 2011, Mathematics boy genius Adi Putra Ghani demonstrated that he could recite a string of about 60 numbers which he had memorized in less than a minute.
After that there was not much report about Adi Putra.
In 2015, the then 16 year-old Adi was still pursuing his mathematical passion locally and overseas on his own.
The forgotten genius felt let down, after various promises made to him by the Federal government fizzled out.
Child genius Adi Putra Abdul Ghani was feeling the stress as a child wonder.
This extraordinary budak Melayu (Malay boy) admitted that it was a burden being called a “child genius”.
He said that there were so many expectations, and it was a burden he had to carry.
Besides, Adi Putra Abdul Ghani, there were three more Malaysian child prodigies who ended up worst than him.
2. Mohd Shukri Hadafi
In 1976, there is a Malay boy by the name of Mohd Shukri Hadafi from Baling, Kedah who amazed Malaysians with his ability to read a newspaper at a tender age of 3.
He even acted in one of Jins Shamsuddin’s movie “Menanti Hari Esok“ in 1977.
The late Professor Ungku Aziz even adopted him.
Sadly, without proper education system for a genius like him, Mohd Shukri Hadafi lost his interest in study and he became a roti canai maker.
According to some, this child prodigy tool up various odd jobs to eke out a living, which includes as a laborer and a chicken seller.
Rumor has it that he became a drug addict, while others said he sells dried coconut in Padang Terap, Kedah.
3. Chiang Ti Ming
Child genius Chiang Ti Ming, hailed from Seremban.
He was the youngest student ever to be admitted into the prestigious California Institute of Technology (CalTech).
Ti Ming was accepted to study for the second year of the four-year Physics degree course at the university when he was 13 years old.
But sadly, this Chinese boy wonder passed away on the Saturday morning of 6th January, 2007.
It was reported that he had been admitted into a hospital in Kuala Lumpur, for depression and withdrawal symptoms.
4. Sufiah Yusof
Her Malay mother Halimahton Yusof is from Muar, Johor and her dad is from Pakistan.
Back in 1997, Sufiah was just 12 when she made headlines around the world as she passed her A-levels and was accepted into Oxford University to do a degree in Mathematics.
She claimed she was being controlled and bullied by her father Farooq Yusof.
Then Sufiah Yusof became a prostitute under the name Shilpa Lee.
Her rate was £130 per hour.
Interestingly, this Muslim girl said to have no regret of being a callgirl.
