Do you know that millions of girls and women in developing countries like Africa, Asia, South America and Central America do not have access to affordable sanitary pads?

So these poor women and girls resort to rags, tree bark and even mud. Every year these young girls and women miss 50 days of going to school and work respectively.

There is this non-profit social enterprise called SHE aka Sustainable Health Enterprises. They are working out ways to help these girls and women to access sanitary pads through sustainable businesses.
