Oops! Apple Did It Again Over Trademark Infringement : Russian Railways

In 2009, Apple was sued by Cartier for using its logo without its permission. The case was dropped after Apple removed the third-party apps from the App Store.

In 2011 Apple stole Swiss Federal Railways SBB clock design for its iPod clock app and ended up paying $21 million. Now the Russian Railways is sueing Apple for trademark infringement.

This time, the Russian Railways is seeking $65,000 compensation for the use of its logo in a third party app, called “Railway Tariff,” sold in the App Store. Railway Tariff app is for users to track cargo-delivery costs and times across the country. [source]
