Weird Olympics Facts: Have you read this really funny news reports? The organizers for the 2012 Olympics in London approached The Who’s manager, Bill Curbishley to see if Keith Moon would be available to play with the surviving members this summer.
Well, for those who do not know who Keith Moon is, he was the legendary wild drummer for the British rock band The Who. He died in 1978. Yes, has been dead for 34 years.
Keith Moon aka “Moon The Loon” died on 7th September 1978 at the age of 32 from an accidental overdose of prescription medicine.
In other words, the wild drummer of The Who, Keith Moon definitely won’t be playing at the coming Olympics 2012 in London.
