Najib Tun Razak‘s sacrificing-Italian-vacation-to-be-with-rakyat remark also made many Malaysians (his opponents) laughed themselves to tears:
Frankly, our beloved Prime Minister did not have to resort to such desperate antic. It looked so fake and silly. Assembled 3,00 people (no it was not an illegal assembly!) at the Bunga Raya Complex of the KL International Airport to greet him on his return. Not forgetting the unnecessary banner initiated by the Malaysian Indian Muslim Congress, said to have about 1.2 million signatures of Malaysians expressing their support for his leadership as prime minister. Probably, Najib supporters are trying to face-off with the Anti-Najib Facebook site. At the time of writing, it has 208, 262 “likes”.
After all, his deputy Muhyiddin Yassin can go around telling the rakyat that they can depend on the BN government, that the Barisan Nasional is their best choice (to quote Najib). Najib should be confident of his leadership and the capabilities of his men. He should have his deserved vacation in Italy.
These days, I am sure you notice PM Najib Tun Razak on many occasions, he did not speak calmly with poise to the crowd anymore, but he bellowed or yelled. His tense facial expression and angst-filled voice speaks volume.
Then there are some who said Najib is probably afraid that if he would to take any longer holidays now, he may have to take an even much longer holidays in the not too distant future.
