Singapore Underage Girl And 80 Men Scandal

In 2012, Singapore is rocked with a controversial scandal, involving an underage girl (or more than one girl) and 80 men who are alleged to be involved in an online prostitution ring.

The girl’s name and date of birth is not stated, and it is unknown whether there are more than one underage girl involved.

So far, 48 men have been charged.

According to a statement by the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) Singapore, the media cannot publish the girl’s name to protect her identity.

As reported in GutterUncensored, there is a lot of  buzz about this 19 year-old Singapore Chinese girl by the name of Steph Thia Hwee Koon aka Chantelle.

It is alleged she could be the one who was involved with the 48 men, who include:

40 year-old Swiss Juerg  Buergin, former executive director of operations in UBS Investment Bank,

49 year-old Edward Whistler Goh, who owns a group of businesses,

41 year-old Howard Shaw Chai Li (grandson of Runme Shaw), a former Singapore Environment Council (SEC) executive director,

River Valley High School teacher Chua Ren Cheng,

and a school principal (Pei Chun Public School) by the name of Lee Lip Hong who paid for her services twice with this 17 year-old Singapore student at Hotel 81 Bencoolen.

Chantelle (her social escort name) was a student at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and also a part-time model.

It is said that Steph lied about her age when she joined an escort agency.

So far, 80 men are under investigation by Singapore Police in relation to online prostitution ring.

51 men were charged in 2012 with having had paid “naughty-service” with this 17-year-old Singapore girl at various hotels.

The website which was offering the girl’s services (including Singapore FHM models) was allegedly run by entrepreneur Tang Boon Thiew

Those who were interested in booking her services would contact Tang through the contact information listed on the website.

Tang, was convicted of 20 vice-related charges and sentenced to 58 months’ jail and fined $90,000.

As reported in Straitstime.com, 46 men were jailed for engaging ‘naughty stuff’ with the minor.

One was fined $10,000; and another given 18 months’ probation.

Most drew jail time of between nine and 12 weeks.
