UK Asia Pakistani & Northern Indian Cuisine Bukit Bintang

Have any of you try eating at Restaurant UK Asia Pakistani & North Indian Cuisine which is located at 55, Jalan Bukit Bintang? It is directly across Jalan Bulan, the narrow one-way road which leads to Low Yat Plaza. To be precise, this restaurant  is opposite Yeoh Tiong Lay Plaza.

Next to it, is another eatery called Paradise which serves the same kind of food.

Since my wife and I have tried authentic Pakistani cuisine over at Restoran Beriani Asif at Jalan Padang Walter Grenier, we decided to try another Pakistani restaurant somewhere in Bukit Bintang area.

At about 4 p.m. this afternoon, we went over to UK Asia Pakistani & Northern Indian Cuisine Restaurant to have our tea-break.

We ordered two pieces of pain roti naan(RM5), a plate of Chicken Qorma, which is boneless chicken cooked in mild spicy sauce (RM6), Channa Masala is actually spicy masala chickpeas (RM4) and a small glass of teh tarik (RM1.30). It cost us RM16.30

Taste-wise, the chicken, chickpeas and the naan bread are excellent. The only disappointment is the glass of teh tarik. It was just some sweetened liquid; not a whiff of tea flavor at all. Alas, we should try its lassi.

This place offers an interesting selection of halal food to choose from. Ranging from nasi beriyani, various chicken, beef & lamb cuisine, wide selection of bread (naan, chapati, paratha, puri, tandoori), vegetable dishes, etc.

As we were there for our tea-break, one of the staff  told us that at dinner time, they serve a wider array of food, which include kebab.

Definitely, one of these days, we will go and try out the dinner over at UK Asia Pakistani & Northern Indian Food at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
